I have 20 years of experience in the healthcare industry and am a chronic pain patient as well. I started trying to help the disabled 4 years ago when this crisis started for myself. Opening up this foundation will give us the tools to not only support our doctors but also allow us to help disabled patients.
Sonny Lawrence grew up in Colorado. He owned a successful construction company in the Vail Valley area and took care of both of his parents while they battled different chronic diseases.
He is married with two daughters.
Sonny has fought pain since the early 70s. His multitude of pain experiences in his lifetime as the results from several car, motorcycle, sporting and work accidents along with medical painful conditions he developed thru the years have made him the pain warrior he is today.
As a caring, compassionate advocate for pain and disabled individuals, I strive daily to raise awareness to the plight of pain/disabled patients and work for positive changes to be made to ensure individualized, compassionate medical care for all.
I have thirty-two years of accounting experience and am currently the financial controller in the oil and gas industry in West Texas.
I have more than 30 years of being a pharmacy technician. Over the years I have had the opportunity to blend my knowledge in the pharmacy industry with the harm of chronically ill pain patients. With practical knowledge and my career includes being an administrator on different social media groups, listening to patients and offering solutions to the issues. I am also serving on different boards over the last year, all with the focus of enhancing the awareness of the chronically ill community. I call Texas my home. I love spending time with my family, my husband and two daughters.
