The idea for A.P.D.F support group started with Kimberly Derewenko-Freitas. She was a giving person who wanted to provide others with a safe space in which to share their struggles regarding chronic pain. Kimberly passed away in 2021 but her vision of a chronic support community lives on. The A.P.D.F support group will be founded in her name and memory. The purpose of an online support group is to have a safe space where chronic pain patients can gather and share their lives and struggles regarding living with chronic or intractable pain. Chronic pain affects all aspects of life, and we hope this support group provides you with a safe space where you can be surrounded by a community of those who share in your pain.

American Pain & Disability Foundation has been working hard to get this set up for the chronic pain community. We will now have a support group zoom meeting starting April 13th.
